The engine needs air, fuel, and a spark in order to run. Had to push home and am trying to find out the reason.

I don't have enough knowledge on the challenger yet to say, but always in the past if you hit the start and got a click, that was the solenoid pulling in on the starter. When you turn the key to start the engine of your challenger, you will hear a clicking sound, which is the sound of a bad starter motor. If the plugs are firing at the wrong time, or something has happened to cause the camshaft to no longer be in sync with the crankshaft, your challenger won’t start.
